Dr A. P. J ABDUL KALAM : Former President of India

 Today's topic of this blog is Dr A. P. J ABDUL KALAM 


By his early childhood, Kalam's family had become poor; at an early age, he sold newspapers to supplement his family's income.

After completing his education at the Schwartz Higher Secondary School, Ramanathapuram, Kalam went on to attend Saint Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli, then affiliated with the University of Madras, from where he graduated in physics in 1954.


When I started researching about Abdul Kalam, I only knew a few things that he was known as the "Missile man of India" And he played a crucial role in testing out the 2 nuclear missiles in pokhran. 


But gradually I started admiring abdul kalam as he motivated the younger generation of India by a truly magnificent speech  “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.” and many more


Unfortunately, he died on July 27, 2015, Dr Kalam was delivering a lecture at the IIM, Shillong, where he collapsed and passed away due to a cardiac arrest but after so many years has passed after his death but so many people look up to him.

LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI : The second Prime Minster of India

While we celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, we need to also pay a tribute to  an another great freedom fighter, statesman and India's second Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri. He played a very major roles in developing and improving India, As some of them are: <>  He promoted the White Revolution - a national campaign to increase the production and supply of milk - by supporting the Amul milk co-operative of Anand, Gujarat and creating the National Dairy Development Board.   <> Shastri also promoted the Green Revolution in India in 1965. This led to an increase in food grain production, especially in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. <> and the last but not least is the famous slogan which have been carved in our minds. The famous slogan 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan', the slogan of Lal Bahadur Shastri,as it captures the true spirit of India.
